FAQs

  • I work with people who are finding relationships, school, work, or life in general difficult. Many of my clients report that their thoughts, emotions, and relationships have been impacted by the struggles with that come with their life experiences.

Some people look at therapy like it's going to the doctor- and think therapy is clinical and dry. There is a time and place for structured mental health interventions. And, I see myself more as your mental health personal trainer: I aim to help you get to know your emotional self, where your injuries lie, and I hope to support you to become a more healthy & fulfilled version of yourself.

Many people come to therapy with an immediate concern or issue they'd like support with. They stay for the continuous support and growth. I typically look to help you deepen your understanding of yourself and take your life even further. I am here to help you live your best life.

  • During our initial consultation you will have an opportunity to see whether or not we'd be a good fit for therapy. I'll ask you to share why you're seeking support now, I’ll share a bit about me and how I work, and there will be space for you to ask whatever questions you may have.

  • During your first session we can explore what you are going through, explore a bit of your history, and make a plan together. Don’t worry- I won’t ask you to recount your entire life story in 1 hour. Together we will identify goals and make a plan of action. This is an opportunity for you to get a feel for me, how I work, and what you can expect in therapy.
